It's funny cause I all I see other candidates do is play politics and give vague answers to appease both sides of the crowd, whereas Gravel speaks the truth, a very rare quality found in a politician. Hell, if Americans won't vote for a real candidate he should come to Canada, there is no doubt in my mind he would become the next prime minister.

The media has already made its decision on who they will be endorsing. Gravel, Kucinich, and Paul aren't on their lists. It's sad that people are so willing to accept the spoon-fed candidates the media so sensationalizes. I'm with Gravel that the troops are dying in vain and there was nothing insensitive about that comment.

Peace, liberty and equality cannot be 'granted' by politicians, no matter how inherently good (like Mike) they are.
They would be stopped via the system that is built to sustain itself -- in order to change something, one should seek unconventional ideas and use new ways, not the ways of the system one is trying to change.
