Nice skates! 100% carbon fiber shell? Wouldn't that be too stiff? I like the concept though! I know Speed Skaters use 100% carbon fiber shell, but they don't need the agility that hockey requires. Here's an idea for you...Leather exterior...just like Graf, but reinforced with carbon fiber for additional protection. You would then keep the feeling of a flexible skate, with the lightweight carbon fiber protection. That's my oppinion...but I never tried them out.

Thanks, the skates are the most comfortable thing you'll ever wear. The liner is form-fitted and allows the necessary movement/agility. The outside shell "hosts" the liner. The chassis portion of the skate is very stiff & light. This gives stability under high loads. The boot is made from molded TPU (urethane plastic) and carbon - so it is a blend.
