@ buldhana, i think its just a theatrical flair they use. It's when the audience starts shouting encore, which is when the performer comes out to extend their act as a gesture of appreciation. Not all performers do, but its not uncommon to see. I think its also there to increase the suspense of whether there's more to the act or not :P
