@DoNotBeHighandMighty that'd be nice, if he was alive. his existence itself is even questionable. sure, maybe this particular "jesus" existed but this isn't the first story of a man with supernatural powers, disciples, and so forth, set waaaaay before this jesus character in question.

I would say ther we are distingushed by a nexus higher objective thought and complex language. Some animals do have a rudimentary language, the pant-hoots of chimps, for example.

Humans are as much animals as dogs.
We're just an ancient species, luck led to a chance of evolving and we did.
And all the religious people defending themselves, they only want to feel like as if they're above all the other species, they're just missleaded power-greedy monkeys. They are all slaves to insanity... just accept it, we're all animals.
And you can't prove me wrong, can you now?

I agree with AronRa in the whole "I didn't come from a monkey" thing.
Nobody said you *came* from a monkey. The reality is that you *are* one. Sure, you're one of the Cadillac of monkeys, but even the Cadillac is just four wheels and an engine when you get right down to it. Even the best still is what it is.
