I find that great artists of all time usually find death around 27 years of age... Jimmy Hendriks, Nick Drake, Tim Buckley... kurt cobain... etc. Although it's sad and good in a way that even if they don't exist in person, they remain alive for all who appreciate their work and their person. About this song, it's one of my favorite of him.. In which album is it in though? I can't find it!

is everyone here depressed and/or really selfish? you seem to hate that anyone who likes ANYTHING mainstream. you all are soooo protective of nick drake; what would you like all of his music destroyed EXCEPT your own??? i have only heard a few of his songs and i liked them, i have been insulted because i mentioned heath ledger--who was also brilliant and, i maintain, a genius. while i may become a nick drake fan i will never become a fan of his fans, most notably mrdoriangray.

This song has captured me too.So beautiful and when you think of what happened to Nick so,so sad.Tears running down my face as I'm listening.Did you catch the tvdocu on Nick's life a few weeks back? Amazing.Beforehand,didn't really know much about Nick and his music.I was also surprised (pleasantly so,I may add) to hear that he is the brother of talented actress Gabrielle Drake.Somehow or other,I never connected the names before.
