I didn't know all that details you guys are revealing! All that is awesonme, thanks for the info, and i'm agree about the legacy of this band! By the way, i think the only ones that always is complaining about the "rivality" of Blur/Oasis are the Gallager brothers, the Blur mates are always very exceptical about that!

I just signed up to you tube just so I could make this comment about the wonderful Suede. It has rekindled my love for the music, what an incredible band!!! I miss the style and the emotion and yes it brings back so many memories ... its true britain had a different feel to it different then...thanks to all you suede posters for bringing back those memories ;-)

My favourite Suede song/video. I was rather obsessed with Brett at the time! I wish I could get at my vinyl copy of this but my vinyl collection and I are separated by the Atlantic Ocean right now...*sigh!* This brings back incredibly vivid and happy memories!

I wanted to like placebo so much, I liked their image and all, and I liked their lyrics even though I was a bit annoyed that while they wanted to get across a specific message with the words they didn't really seem to care nearly so much about wording things so the words sounded nice too. but I could get over that.
but brian molko's voice, I couldn't get over that.
suede, to me, was finding the idea I'd liked from placebo, but done right.
