look gosh yes those guys are great, but so is Larry. In fact, he expanded on them a took it to a "modern" sound. Everyone has a right to an opinion, and, well, mine is that Larry Carlton is still the best guitarist alive today!

being technical, critical about bends, picking style etc. doesn't mean that you "really" know what you're talking about. Larry Carlton is a BETTER guitarist than Guthrie because he has "feel" that is unmatched. I don't care about technical skills as much as I care about hearing something that I can really enjoy!

Larry Carlton is a BETTER guitarist than Guthrie because he can "feel" what he's playing. I'm not saying Guthrie isn't good, but Larry just has a certain "touch" that every guitarist, myself included, would love to have! Now stop saying people are better than him when they are NOT! Thank You!
