How to create a simple blog design with GIMP

Video Description:
This video shows some basic techniques to create a simple, "web 2.0 style" website or blog design, using nothing but GIMP. (GIMP is a free software, available also for Linux, Mac and Windows, browse to http://www.gimp.org to get it.)
Reflected logo, glassy header, faded photo on the right, rounded edges.
The music is a demo recording from Vomitron, titled Contra. (You may find some tunes familiar. :-))
The video was recorded on 800x600 with gtk-recordMyDesktop, on Ubuntu 8.04. Something can't be seen on the video, for example the magic Ctrl key while using the Blend tool to make the direction of the color gradient exactly horizontal or vertical, but mostly I tried to use menus for the video instead of hotkeys.
