To Whom it may Concern..

"Nothing is to be feared but fear itself." - Francis Bacon
I know a lot of people are going to get really riled up by this but it's what happened and I'm telling it because I think it's the right thing to do and I think travelers (especially youtubian travelers) should know and be prepared for the possibility of what happened to me happening to them also if they are thinking of traveling to the states in today's world.
Judging alone by the tons of mails I have received from travelers all over the globe since telling me stories that in some cases are much worse then my own, it is clear to me this is not some freak isolated incident. And that is sad. I realize Homeland Security have an important job to do. All I ask.. and I think you should ask.. is that they DO that job thoroughly and with respect to their fellow human beings. The two officers that dealt with me did not. This is mostly about those officers.. NOT America. I'm not anti-american. I am anti-idiocy. My case needs to be reviewed and looked over by Homeland Security. I will not give up until this happens.
Some super happy US travel tips by Dan:
- Memorize phone numbers of loved ones.
- Keep your e-mails censored from all forms of joking, sarcasm or riddles at least 12 months before travel. If someone mails you with any of the above delete them immediately.
- Make sure you have "permanant ties" to your nation before you leave it. Find out and be sure of what a "permanent tie" is and is not before departure.
- Do not film squat toilets in Japanese airports just because you think they look funny. This is considered odd behavior.
- Leave your laptop at home.
- Be aware that if you are meeting someone while in the US you've never met before in real life and have only known through other means (such as telephone, email & You Tube) this is considered highly suspicious and it will be deemed that you "do not know" the person and they are "not your friend" if you have not actually physically met them before.
- Bring more then one copy of your ATM receipts proving your bank account balance.. one may get "lost" unexpectedly.
- Do not wear pants on the plane that require a belt to hold them up..

What the I94W form looks like. You must fill this form out upon entering the US.

*Pay particular attention to the "waiver of rights" section

If you'd like to show your support or just have an opinion on the issue. Please post a video response to this video rather then the AustrALIEN one. I'd appreciate it a lot. Something needs to be done about this.

@Lavenderrose73 -- I've exchanged some emails with DrLemur, and judging from what he told me, he was not admissible. He never would have been able to obtain a visitor visa if he had applied for one before flying to the U.S.
He chose to use the Visa Waiver Program instead. Just because he didn't agree with the CBP officer's decision doesn't make that decision an incorrect one.
If he had flown into another port of entry, those officers would have refused him too.

@fred0245 Well it's not HIS fault the Visa Waiver Program is apparently worth crap; he couldn't have known that it would sabotage his entry. What the heck is the waiver program thing anyway? Apparently it's not meant to help harmless people do some international traveling with less paperwork. Doesn't waiver mean someone should have been able to enter WITHOUT A VISA??? And not to mention, even if they WERE in the right (STILL disagree) they treated him TERRIBLY!!! So in essence, IT'S STILL BULL!!

@Lavenderrose73 - You're right about one thing, the VWP should be eliminated. One court said, "The VWP is designed to eliminate unnecessary red tape and to make it possible for people to travel more easily to this country, while also making it easier for United States citizens to travel more easily to cooperating countries."
That does not mean everyone who tries to use it is eligible to use it. They have to be admissible first!
@fred0245 Yeah, ... ( 2 months ago by Lavenderrose73)
@fred0245 Yeah, back to the admissible thing. So tell me: how do people in the VWP program BECOME admissible? And since when do officers have the right to treat him the way I was told NOT to treat POW's when I was in the Air Force? Where is the false accusations of being a terrorist and then of illegally seeking work justified? Where is laughing at his declaration of long term residence in Australia--with his parents--justified? Ever watch the other videos pertaining to this issue?

@Lavenderrose--The grounds of inadmissibility course is a 12 hour course which could not be summarized in youtube. See section 212(a) of the INA if you're curious. If none of those 30 plus ground of inadmissibility apply, the alien is admissible.
The burden of proof is on the alien to show he's admissible. He never established that he was admissible in every respect.
@fred0245 And ... ( 2 months ago by Lavenderrose73)
@fred0245 And therefore they had every right to to treat him like crap!
@Lavenderrose73 - ... ( 2 months ago by fred0245)
@Lavenderrose73 - If you say so. I haven't found any comments here that support that notion. If an individual officer was unprofessional that is obviously not how he was trained to treat people.
Two issues here. Admissibility or the lack thereof and treatment. The key is that the gentleman was not admissible to the U.S.
How he was treated is a different matter, and we only have his description of the event to rely on. If you choose to believe what he says, fine. No harm done.
@fred0245 Well ... ( 2 months ago by Lavenderrose73)
@fred0245 Well sometimes it helps to just be supportive instead of adding salt to the wound by telling him why they were in the right to refuse. It's like someone who accidentally shut the car door on my fingers (and it actually happened!) telling me that I should have thought about where my hands were. Really Encouraging!

@fred0245 Yeah, I guess that's how you want to see it. I guess if you had been in his shoes you'd have no problem taking the whole matter with a grain of salt.
@Lavenderrose73 - ... ( 2 months ago by fred0245)
@Lavenderrose73 - Grain of salt? Probably not. No one enjoys a loss, and he lost his trip, but I wouldn't spend so much time on being a victim.

Before you open your stupid mouth, you should have read all of MrGilbert's posts. He's a Anti-American , he HATES America and you just helped him, you moron. So, are do you also hate America??? Read his posts, then make a comment.
@DawnsNighmare I ... ( 1 month ago by Lavenderrose73)
@DawnsNighmare I don't have a problem with MY homeland, I have a problem with Homeland Security officers who think they can treat well-intending international neighbors who just want to come and visit. I have a problem with Arrogance, not my country, and MrGilbert didn't appear to either. So have yourself a nice day!

This DawnsNightmare claims that you're anti-American, but I believe that's a bit outlandish, since I don't remember you saying anything hateful (although the thing about harassing on the border may have been out of line by both of us; I'm just really peeved H.S. so I said more than I should have), I just thought I'd ask you to clarify your thoughts to both of us if you would.
Oh yeah, that's ... ( 1 month ago by Lavenderrose73)
Oh yeah, that's right. You're shooting off a really hateful potty mouth, but MrGibert's the one with the really big issue here!
And MrGibert, that MAY have been more that should be said, especially after the 911 incident. After we were attacked like that one COULD take that personally, especially if they lost loved ones or were otherwise adversely affected that day.
I STILL THINK Homeland Security needs to get over themselves!
FOR ALL WHO ARE ... ( 1 month ago by Lavenderrose73)
FOR ALL WHO ARE CONCERNED ABOUT MY PAST COMMENTS: I'm not trying to bad mouth my country, sincerely. It's just that cases like this one where people in authority act very unethically can be very disillusioning to me. And it's not B.S. I have a lifetime friend in the Navy Reserves I spoke of this to and expressed my concern that many people don't believe it's true. He'd told me HE believes this because of the crap he'd seen himself. I wouldn't appreciate my own family member mistreating a guest.

Daniel is a crybaby, and you're defending him. My guess is that you know what it's like to have a prick up your asshole.
Daniel was found inadmissible. Now's he's dramatizing what happened to him rather than accepting responsibility for it.

For a person who lives in England, your English is horrible. I'll rewrite your sentence for you.
Here is how to say it correctly: "That's sad that Americans hit the skids big time. Won't be long until they are under marital law. Bush fucked that country up."
Martial law is the imposition of military rule by military authorities over designated region(s) on an emergency basis. Not "marshall law."
Hope this helps.
