well theres no doubt their music from OK Computer onward is art rock style, and perhaps to some extent The Bends, but there is also no doubt they are extremely popular, as well as critically acclaimed. they have been popular ever since Pablo Honey and the "Creep" single, playing MTV spring break in the early 90s.

I agree with irulethisschool, being popular is NOT the same as making "POP" music. KARMA Police is a great number. Radiohead are a group of MUSICIANS that will never be matched, nor rivaled. Simply a wonderful song and a beautiful group of musicians!

The argument was never about whether they were pop rock. It was whether they were "popular rock," as stated by X3MUSEWOOO. My argument is that, while they make art rock style music, they definitely are popular. So, you have all argued a moot point.
