Universal healthcare is not the answer. Look at Canada when people get sick or hurt they are put on a waiting list because everything is backed up. Universal health care would just be another reason for people not to work and have to pay for thier own health care! The government does not owe us everything and have to take care of us. If you want a more socialistic or comunist country where the gov controls everything move to china or russia.

The capitalist model works regardless as to whether it's computers or medicine. Since the 1940's when the US government got involved in Health Care, inefficiencies became the norm. Since Medicare passed in 1965, the problem of costs have increased. The system is messed up, because of government intervention! Less government means better health care. We've tried it your way for too long, it's time we tried it without the damned government.

Great video style, but I still disagree. Nat'l Healthcare here would probably end up a cross between an HMO and the DMV. Also, why stop with taking people's money to pay for poor Americans. Isn't that a little unfair to all the poor people in the 3rd world who can be helped for a fraction of the price. But in reality, people only want "free" healthcare for Americans because they want "free" healthcare for themselves. Time to realize the govt. does a bad job of being your Mommy and Daddy.

Next time, do your research. Hillary's health care plan had nothing to do with a government takeover of the country's health care system, nor did Obama's. Both call/called for tax credits and mandated transparency in costs, mandated public releases of medical quality at hospitals, and give/gave all Americans access to the insurance plans that federal public officals are offered. Now tell me, fine sir, does any of that smack of socialism -- COMMUNISM! -- to you?

A critical thing you could have cited for clarity regarding the medical spending in the world: Americans spend more per capita (per person, if you will) than, well, most countries with decent health care. Yeah, I know, nitpicking.
Universal healthcare doesn't have to mean a single payer system. People need to look at France's system.
