| I was born and raised in Karnes City...not too terribly far from Cuero. This brought back memories. Additionally, I cried when Kuralt died...loved him as a journalist..even if he did have a second family on the side. |

| I think that was part of his charm. He had that devilish, southern grin. I liked him because he was mean and bitter like many straight shooters in the journalist profession, then and now with the exception of Tim Russert. |
