TF2 - How to play the Pyro

Well, it took some time (Crysis and Timeshift can be great timewasters) but it's finally here. I chose the Pyro for this vid as it seems that he got a little stealth nerf in a recent patch. Playing a Pyro with competent adversaries is somewhat like playing a spy without his disguise kit. You'll get killed a lot if you just try to rush in and flame people head-on. Sure, you'll get kills from the burn damage, but my style involves not dying so much. :P

Also, don't start posting comments along the lines of "oh yeah i knew that stuff already lol", I didn't make this for the people that already knew how to play, dammit, it's for the people who actually seek advice. :P

With all due respect, the comment was pretty much unthoughtful of you.
Pyros seriously lack in distance kills, which means dodging a pyro is simple if you just run away. They also lack health. As a pyro you are always running into enemy bases. But you lack health (or speed)
Fuck them. It takes very little skill to be good at the pyro.
The flamethrower has ridiculous afterburn damage, which will kill you if you were damaged beforehand or if the flames were on you for more than a second.
It requires very little aim to use the flamethrower well and I don't see how he doesn't have a speed reduction, because he has to carry that flamethrower around and that gas tank.
It makes no sense whatsoever how he can be as powerful as he is.
the minigun doesnt require alot of aim either! just spray in their general direction! plus the whole weight thing isnt a big deal, honestly a full tank of propane isnt THAT heavy of a load and for being an all powerful character, hes got a low amount of health

Press and hold down "W" and then first mouse button whenever you see anyone.
