Now the reverse is happening because lending has become expensive, and no one is willing to take risk thereby over contracting the economy.
This is the problem with central planning. It is always too slow.
You do not understand what laissez faire capitalism is, especially if you think increased government and socialist/fascist policies are capitalist.
i think obama's revolution is better because he is a democrat, therefore he stands for a more anti-capiltastic way of ruling our country, so hopefully because of that he will fix some of our problems who are caused by the capitalistic way of thinking. like the finacial crisis for instance..
america has never been an extreme capitalistic country(because then the goverment would not have any power at all)
but still america in the last 16 years(92-08)
has followed the capitalstic code quite well, therefore the financial crisis has now occured, and the sad thing is that goverment hasnt been that involved in all these cases whove started the finncial crisis, for instance back in 92 when poeple could take up loan
(but of course the war in iraq has been quite destructive too)
