John Roberts: "Well you've still got $4 million to do it. Hah other candidates would like that money too."
Yea, but you have to earn it Mr Roberts. ;)

Ron Paul is so ... ( 2 weeks ago by Gugguggug)
Ron Paul is so right. Oil would be higher priced if taxpayers money wasn't being used to finance the military around the world to secure production. Without that oil would be much higher gand alternative energy would be more viable. Gotta love him.
It's true a REAL ... ( 2 weeks ago by Cosbibi)
It's true a REAL laissez-faire has never existed. But ever since Reagan came to power America was working towards less and less regulation and now we see that regulation is needed. How would the true free market prevent this economic crisis from happening? The crisis started because of the greed of men and because the mass can't make proper decisions. Those are the fundamental problems we are dealing with and laissez faire would make those problems even more apparent.
It is more ... ( 2 weeks ago by Spectre11B)
It is more complicated than blaming it on the greed of men. This crisis would not exist if the price of goods reflected true market value. When we have a central banking system that affects the flow of currency into the market, this causes excess risk taking when lending becomes cheap.
Now the reverse is happening because lending has become expensive, and no one is willing to take risk thereby over contracting the economy.
This is the problem with central planning. It is always too slow.
Then why does the ... ( 2 weeks ago by jglapski)
Then why does the Federal Register have tens of thousands more pages of government regulations since Reagan?
You do not understand what laissez faire capitalism is, especially if you think increased government and socialist/fascist policies are capitalist.

No one deserves to be worshipped except God ~ But Ron Paul does deserve to be elected President. He is, what I call a genuine, good man and a true American. The others are just phony and bogus. It's not just change (to the Same) that we need. We need a Revolution. When the 'Change' runs out, those with Ron Paul will have just that.

well its obvious: america is in need for some sort of revolution, though im doubtful if ron paul's revolution is the one we need.
i think obama's revolution is better because he is a democrat, therefore he stands for a more anti-capiltastic way of ruling our country, so hopefully because of that he will fix some of our problems who are caused by the capitalistic way of thinking. like the finacial crisis for instance..
at least it's a ... ( 1 week ago by KDog510)
at least it's a philosophy. what the hell are the others offering. and if you stopped to think more about it you'd probably see how his ideas are a great start to get our country back. the best is that its not just his ideas, their ours, and the founder's ideas, i happen to think he'd have been a great president.

Yes, the racist, communist, gun banner, muslim obama is going to restore the Bill of Rights and the Constitution which was created by white Christian men. Can we say delusional? The only solution is going to be the cartridge box, lead, follow or get out of the way
Capitalism didn't ... ( 1 week ago by iwustudent101)
Capitalism didn't cause the problems we have today; it was the absence of following capitalism that did so. Government intervention in the markets (which is not at all capitalist) such as the policy of the Federal Reserve, the creation and power of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and various government regulation such as the CRA caused the financial crisis we are experiencing today. Other things like healthcare, poverty, etc. will still be an issue four years from now; Obama will not fix them.
i think you ... ( 6 days ago by deidarajunior1508)
i think you misunderstood me..(although you have some good points)
america has never been an extreme capitalistic country(because then the goverment would not have any power at all)
but still america in the last 16 years(92-08)
has followed the capitalstic code quite well, therefore the financial crisis has now occured, and the sad thing is that goverment hasnt been that involved in all these cases whove started the finncial crisis, for instance back in 92 when poeple could take up loan

so they could buy a house, and they were supposed to pay back in 25 years, but now these people whove done that has now lost their homes because they havent been able to pay back( its bad for both part because the these private banks lose alot of money) but the thing is if the goverment had been more involved in these cases it would definitely made the finacial crisis less worse.
(but of course the war in iraq has been quite destructive too)

The interviewer is soooooooooooooooo stupid, "how can you be a good republican if you don't campaign for the republican candidate." what was that? well in answer to his question if the republican candidate is an ass clown with no conservative economic or political policies then I consider it very plausible not to support the candidate.
