Yeah, I do have the coolest Englsh teacher ever.
And in eighth grade I had the coolest history teacher ever! He grew up around the East Bay punk scene in the 80s (California), and he's into punk bands like The Clash, Social Distortion, Rancid, Operation Ivy, etc.
I've left comments aout that teacher on videos for some of the above-mentioned bands. (I have a habit of paying homage on the Internet to teachers with good music taste.) LOL.

My band have been covering this song in our regular set list for ages, and now people are starting to actually recognise it because of Guitar Hero WT. Weird. Felt like slapping them with a copy of Nothing's Shocking and going "listen to that, you little bitches." Still, kudos to the people at Neversoft for knowing a decent tune to put in their game when they hear one, and if it means Jane's get a whole new generation of fans, then I'm all for it.

If I hear one more person go "OMG this is in Guitar Hero" I will blow my God damn brains out. Seriously, just because you play GH doesn't mean you know shit about music. Nobody cares about how well you can 100% it. Get a life and maybe some friends.

Good song though, and a great band. I hear they're back together and there's rumors about a tour this summer. That'd be awesome, especially since STP did one last summer. Just goes to show the 90's ain't dead yet.

janes are the fucking the best i heard this song on kerrang once and said thats fucking catchy, then i heard it on marc eckos getting up and thought bloody hell didnt know it was that popular and btw to thoughs who say having mountain song on gh4 keep in mind stop was in gh2 nothing really happened to it tbh but kids running around thinking they amazing cauz they can do play gh need to think twice and try playing real guitar like dave navarro or jimi hendrix then tell me if u still think ur good

Thing is, alot of famous guitarists cant play GH because its completely different. People who are proud of being good at GH arent saying they are good at playing a guitar, they are saying they are good at GH, a completely different experience. Kind of obvious and somewhat redundant. -_-

Haha you guys are funny. I'm not jealous of people who can play it. I'm pretty good myself until I level up to hard. It's completely different from playing bass, that's for sure. I agree it's fun to play, but just because you are awesome at playing a video game doesn't mean you know anything about music or that it's anything to be impressed about.

I am still trying to fathom how this was made in 1988.. This sounds alternative, a little grunge too.. Which means These guys started the alternative movement, which was halted till 1991 when Nirvana came around. I mean this song sounds like 90's alternative.. what the fuck.. Understanding this, that nothign in the 80s sounded like this, these guys did indeed start the grunge/alternative scene.. I mean no one gives them credit for that, but this is so grunge/alternative!!!!!!!
