Washington Republican Convention - 5th District Caucus Rules
Uploaded by: revco696
Video Description:
Here we have a video from the Washington State Republican Convention where the temporary chairman of the 5th Congressional District Caucus explains the rules. Most importantly, please note that he says that balloting shall begin within 45 minutes of the gavel of the caucus. When we received our ballots, more than 45 minutes after the beginning of the caucus, it was determined that many gross errors were made, effectively leaving several Ron Paul supporters off the printed ballot. Unfortunately, due to this 45 minute rule, nothing further could be done about it as balloting had commenced. At least one individual had brought PROOF of the WSRP's receipt of his national delegate form - yet it was determined that nothing could be done as the WSRP failed to have any of these records on file. A copy of the original form AND the timely delivery receipts were not enough to get this individual on the ballot.
