While drunk hockey fans trampled Hillary signs outside, the leading candidates tried to win over the 9,000 cheering Democrats inside, taking jabs at Republicans and each other in an attempt to win hearts and minds at the upcoming Jan. 3 caucus.

Maybe you should join the Paulites. You might discover that most of us just care about this country and want some genuine integrity in our country's leaders. Apart from Paul, Kucinich and Gravel (who I like but wouldn't vote for) I don't see it in any of the other candidates on either side.
You might be disappointed though. We don't have a secret hand shake.

I am a liberal, and not one of the ones fooled by Paul's foreign policy views (better than most, but a little TOO isolationist in some area) to look back his ridiculously regressive, libertarian domestic beliefs and proposals.
I want a President who won't start wars and be corrupt, yes, but I also want a strong progressive leader who looks toward the future, not the past. Ron Paul is not that man by any stretch of the imagination.

you may be optimists, but you should also be realists, Paul is still at the bottom of the list for the Repug candidates, it's highly unlikely he will get the nomination. With that said, it seems that as of late, the Repugs in our country are scrambling to support a candidate, they're having some trouble deciding, so Paul may have a chance, albeit a very remote chance...
