The Beatles remake of this is terrible. John's voice is sped up and it loses its clarity. He sounds like a chipmunk in the remake, sort of. Here, you can here him singing clearly and the song sounds much better. I didn't like the addition of the drums in the remake either. However, George's solo was great.

but the single version does sound like he's singing in the bathroom. that version is really fucked up because they had to tweak the tempo a lot. i really think john would hate that, even more than he hated 'let it be'. but it's amazing that they did it, anyway.
i like the version on 'acoustic'. it's incomplete and all, but it sounds great with the guitar.

There is one key in his piano that is very very out of tune. Also, the EQ of his piano sucks. And I know, this is the bare bones recording but it just sounds like he went to K-mart and got a cheap crap thing to play it on. His voice sonicly was recorded better than the out of tune piece of crap he played on. But still, has more sincerity than the remake. And even further more still, the remake was structred better as far as a single goes. I have spoken.
