That's about the only time McCain has ever been nasty in his attacks against many of Obama's about John's military record and even his career in the United States Senate. Do not even try to compare the two on their moral judgement.

I love how everyone insults John McCain, you should watch "Faith of My Fathers" and realize why he is hunched over. He's gone through more pain and suffering for Our Country than most people could dream of.

The United States Congress is majority Democrat, same with the Senate, and a Republican President (BUSH) that's two against one. The President has vetoing power, he cannot declare war anymore, that's the SEC DEF's job, and he can pardon criminals and meet other PResidents and government officials, he really can't do anything else. Everything else, passing bills, etc, is left to the Democrat Senate and Congress.

The Republicans had the majority in the House and Senate for six years: 2000-2006. Basically Dubya was like a Bull in a China shop for those first six years, and the Dems could not oppose him.
