Actually, we rag on religion first because 1) evolution is proven and 2) creationists make the claims that life was created, therefore, THEY are the ones who must provide evidence; it is not our job to teach you high school/college level evolution.
But, I digress. Life has not been created in a lab entirely from scratch (IE They've never taken a bunch of different chemicals and get a life form); however, there were alternatives that I will mention in my next post.
And why? To learn more about how life works and such.
Hell, I heard about it a while ago and I just remembered it. And FYI i'm still in high school.
And you're mixing up evolution with abiogenesis (the latter is entirely just speculation, while what they teach you, evolution, is proven), which are unrelated. Common creationist mistake.
ALL HAIL LEPRECHAUNS WHO LIVE IN MY PANTS AND CREATED THE WORLD
I've done lots of research on this stuff too. Abiogenesis is NOT related, stupid.
Evolution does nothing to explain the origins, so it has nothing to do with it.
It's like if I'm licking an ice cream cone and that's related to how i got the ice cream cone.
evolution is proven, dipshit, and it has nothing to do with abiogenesis. Get that through your thick skull. Your science teacher or professor will never be explaining how life came about, only how it got more diverse.
Macro=micro+time. A large scale doesn't make it ridiculous.
Now every day, you will change one of the 7's into a 5, comparable to how every once in a while, there is a small change. Eventually, all of the numbers in that 10 digit code will become 5's, just like how eventually, all the small changes accumulate and you have an entirely different species.
It's preposterous to say that if something changes alot over a long period of time it still stays the same thing; it's like saying you can count to 10 but not 10,000.
Wow, I'm stupid. Why? I'm arguing with Thinker222, an ignorant evangelist who seems to be part of this gigantic straw man movement against evolution on youtube. Ironic username, isn't it?
"If you're arguing with an idiot, so is he."
