I work at one of the highway patrol stations in Ohio(They keep a lot of things there that aren't available to anyone if you know what I mean.) Anyway's those people are just fuckin' fruits man. There is a problem. The 'Them and us' culture. The citizen was NO threat to Police, it was a 'public act to gain exposure', an 'assisted removal' by two officers, one either side, would have been sufficient, both sides having made their point, with no loss of 'face'.(think about it).
Unfortunately, the post-event Police vision is not just STUPID, it borders on frightening. The commentary, and group affirming actions by the 'silverback' officer are troubling. A fix is needed.
