Well I help him with things like taking gathers and rolling it while he's having to prepare the necks and such. I also help to put the gold and silver leaf on and I do help to blow the glass bulbs if needed. Worst though is operating the kiln doors and the glory hole doors it's sooo hot @_@

Great video, this guy is incredible. I wonder how many he broke learing that.? What is with all the idiots saying there is no glass blowing. He is a glass blower, and he just happens to be glass sculpting in the video. He is using a glass blowing tube.

Thanks for putting this up! I'm actually researching glassblowing and sculpting for a book, and getting a nice clear view of how the tools are used is very helpful for descriptions.

Let's say I'm a carpenter, that cuts wood and such. Today I'm joining two pits of wood together (another job, called Joinery) which would make me a 'wood cutting guy joining some wood together'.

man...The glass visibly cooling down is such a cool sight to watch. Damn, it's impressive how the guy managed to properly proportion the legs and stuff so well! I just feel like buying glassware now.
