We should think about pulling out the muslims out of Europe. This ground is cursed by the virus of the antichrist. Yes, but this mosque is huge, bigger than churches in an offically christian country. Also, the mosque has ties to Al-Qaedia. The biggest thing thought, is what would happen if I wanted to build a church like this back in Lahore or Sialkot, least bit Saudi Arabia. Also, how come in Islam if you convert to another religon you are killed? Is that right? Don't people get to make choices? Until both these change I don't think Britain should build a mega mosque in there city.

Yes, I'm aware of that but most of those churches where built under the British, who where Christians. However, very few new churches have been built. Anyway, my point was, how do you think they would feel If I wanted to build a Norte Dame in Pakistan? I don't think it would fly. Now how about Saudi Arabia?

I am a Pakistani Muslim, and I am all for religious rights for religious minorities.
There are so many churhes in Pakistan, especially in the center of main cities.
As far as Saudi arabia is concern that is our HOLY LAND. I am sure, you wouldn't want a temple in the Vatican. Other then saudi arabia, churches are present is all of the 50 muslim countries.

I'm glad to hear that you are for equal rights and I know that there are many churches in Pakistan, but you never answered my question, would they allow me to build a church the size of Norte Dame?
Also, I understand that Saudi Arabia may be you holy land but that is very different than the vatican. The vatican is a city-state, its like 3 miles across (if that) I would understand if you said, o I don't want a church in Mecca, but Saudi Arabia, please thats riduculus.

yes , In Qatar they recently built a huge church on free government donated land.
and yes The government would allow the building of Norte Dame size church in Pakistan.
as for saudi arabia, that is again our HOLY land, there are NO local christians there. Christianity is too alien to that country.
but yes there are christians who live in saudi arabia are are free to practice their religion in the privacy of their own home. But yes they won't allow you to hold an open air mass

they won't arrest you if you teach bible to your kids in your own home. I am sure many of those foreigner who work in the oil industry are practising christians. and I am sure they are free to practise their faith in privacy of their own home.
