Come off it. Private cops are more brutal and more expensive just as the mercenaries in Iraq are, just as the Wackenhut pigs here in Denver are. Corporate structures are inherently totalitarian and can't be regulated and investigated like gov't agencies have the potential to be. We've seen America go down the tubes from the widespread philosophy of privatization that you hold. All this stuff needs is honest policing by citizens and government of the police departments.

I was jailed in Denver for 9 hours because my name was SIMILAR to the suspects and the cops were so lazy they only went to dep't of motor vehicles to see the names on licenses and then encouraged the victim (of a hit and run by a tall very long-haired blond man, whom she saw very clearly) to choose me because my name was similar to that of the person whose license plate number she'd written down.

You know what? They broke out his front teeth. But don't get hurt or killed defending. Just shout and yell and scream and film. That's enough, that'll do the trick. And then make telephone calls and provide evidence.

Yeah, the cops WOULD like martial law. I suspect that a great many of them really enjoy inflicting violence on defenceless people. Interesting mentality. But we have to regain control of our local governments. We have to complain and complain and complain. Copwatch is a good start. We have to restore our liberty and our rights, since these idiots apparently don't think we have any.

I'm not even sure if that would be enough today. It's interesting that if you wear that uniform, you have the power to enforce the law, and your apparently above the law, but if we shoot someone trying to break into our home, or otherwise try to protect ourselves. we would get the book thrown at us. Sad isn't it?

THis was out of line. But what I don't get is I use to get arrested all the time when I was younger. I really was a freaking terd who needed my ass kicked. But I never got beat by the cops but one time. That one time I had it coming. I don't know how so many people always get beat. I really would like to see all these videos from when the whole incident starts. I bet you any money most of them did something that started it all.

It's all about the accreditation. Some Departments do have it. Too many(especially southern departments)don't. It denotes professionalism that unfortunately, is lacking in many cases.
