This a serious question. Why do an awful lot of Americans misunderstand the meaning of "socialism" and "liberty"? Do they not know that Spain has a socialist government (and is not, believe it or not, a communist state but one of the fastest growing economies in Europe) and Sweden had a socialist government for decades and is one of the richest countries in Europe?
As far as "liberal" is concerned, the word comes from the Latin "to be free" - what, exactly is wrong with freedom?

I find Hannity and Cole's interviewing to be very condescending in nature. Every time I open up one of these videos I brace my self for an ambush where they don't let the guest(s) get a single word in edge wise. Not saying I agree or disagreee with this professor's opinions on 9/11 seeing as they're quite radical but let the man finish a sentence!
