people need to learn how to trust their graphic designer...

Yup, I hear it over and over from my colleagues: many clients don't listen to advice. We're in one the few industries where clients frequently tell you how to do your job (would you tell your electrician how he/she should do their his/her job?). Why don't they just do it themselves if they're experts?
"Can you make logo bigger...can you center all the text" etc.

wish they would have had a super villain in the form of some indian guy named "THE UNDERCUTTER" some guy who keeps running behind every deal your about to close offering to do it for like a dollar.

They forgot one more thing. When the design is finalized and is shown to someone at the top who thinks it sucks (rightly so) guess who's fault it is.
