I like collins, i grew up listening to genesis collins era. I prefer this, and to say this is garbage makes u look like a fool. i know my history i use multiple sources, not just 1 like you. OK I gotta put in my two cents here, first this shit sucks tremendous ass. I perfer the Collins era "crap" because it is enjoyable. And for those who bitch about the pop direction Genesis took after Gabriel left, have any of you ever heard a song called "In Your Eyes" off an album called So??? 80's pop at it's WORST. Granted I love In Your Eyes and Sledgehammer, that's the ONLY two good songs on that album. Granted Phil sucked solo, Genesis was rock GODS with him leading, this fuckin sucks

What does Gabriel's solo stuff have to do with this anyway. Sorry to be the one to tell you this but the entire band would like to have gabriel back leading again, thats how good he was.Collins said recently that he wanted gabriel to front again and he would drum..where he should be

fuck the 80s...enough said....the only good thing that came out of the 80s was me....phil collins was better as a drummer, from one drummer to another.....phil's era was tolerable and got me through my childhood, but this shit is ten times better....it's called real music

Ray Wilson was a fucking joke but he did have a good song with Congo I will give him credit for that. And I used So as an example, this stuff doesnt sell for a reason. Every Genesis fan from this era bitches about how Collins turned Genesis pop, well it couldnt have been too bad of an idea for Gabriel either, otherwise he wouldve stayed with this shit till his dying day, not took the same "pop" direction trying to get the success Genesis had with it. Times change, so did the minds of Genesis

all i can say is, fuck phil, peter was better...fuck the 80s, the 70s stomps it and i don't really know very many artists whose marriages do survive...their career always fucks it up for whatever the reason...otherwise on drugs, not on drugs, this is the shit....foxtrot, nursery cryme, the lamb lies down on broadway, all great pieces of work.....i'll even give abacab and a trick of the tail props too, but if you really are trying to say the self title and invisible touch is much better then

I read of a Genesis interview where Peter is asked where the creativity comes from and he replies: I comes from the soles. He then takes his shoe off and drums on the sole. Does ANYBODY know where I can find a video of this? I searched for it but I couldn't find it. *sigh* I would totally love to see it..

Actually gabriel took the direction before Genesis did and im not really into Gabriels solo work too much for the same reason. This old material sells very well. Most fans when they talk about how they want a reunion and what should be played, they say they want pete and hackett back in and they want these types of songs (the older catalog) Your right though, Gabriel would have stayed with this type of music, and most of us would have loved it. This is real genesis
