i registered republican just to vote for Ron Paul. I wouldnt waste my vote on a Republican normally let alone register as one, but Ron's clearly not a waste.

Romney wants to run the government like a business. Don't successful businesses grow? So either government increases in size, or he isn't successful. I don't like what his analogy says about his intentions. More government jobs, maybe. Understanding of the economy and limited government? Not a chance.

Romney is a flip flopping corporate hack, like Bush in 2000. Ron Paul is the only candidate who speaks the truth.. He is the only candidate who wants to get rid of the illegal federal reserve which has been raping people since 1913. Average savings for americans is minus 2%!!! Ron Paul is the only candidate who is not on the Council of Foreign Relations. Obama,Clinton,Romney,McCane etc are on the CFR. Research "CFR", it is a front for a one-world government. Then search youtube for Ron Paul Rockefeller. Rock is asked how he feels about Paul abolishing the illegal federal reserve and Rock is squirming and scared of Paul. The fed reserve is Rockefellers and they have been stealing from americans since 1913. Vote for RP to stop these criminals once and for all!!

look up your facts. . . that's a really ignorant statement... china is pegging its currency and keeping it artificially low despite international norms and agreements; The US dollar is a floating currency and goes up and down depending on the flows of the market. . No manipulation here.

i am indeed very ignorant in this area, as i basically know nothing about economics. that is why i was asking who(not necessarily a country, but the decision factor) was manipulating currency.
As I understand, China's currency has went 10% up compared to US dollar(8.3:1 --> 7.5:1) in the last 2 years, and Euros went up even higher. I don't believe manipulation of currency is a great thing. Just look at what US did to Japan in 80s.

US "persuaded" Japan to appreciate Japanese Yen from 360:1 to 80:1 -- Japanese economy then staggered but US deficit was not lowered either. Funny thing is that in Asian Financial crisis in 1998, China was the only country that didn't depreciate its currency and helped turnaround the crisis. Everybody seemed just fine with that. The term 'market flow' is too vague for me, I naively thought when the economy is good currency is good and when people work hard economy is good.

I know some Chinese, some Europeans, some Americans. No doubt Chinese work the hardest, Americans work almost as hard as Chinese and the most creative of all, Europeans are lovable slackers(as Romney once put, "Europeans are like us, short working days, long holidays, they are easy to compete"). But Euros keep going up. Don't blame other countries' currency policy when your own economy is in trouble especially when US dollar is the only falling one.

I believe American people are very capable, if not the most, of handling economy. It's politicians job to help people have better economy but not to mislead them. I agree with most of Mitt Romney's ideas regarding economy-- investment on R&D, education; but just stop crying out loud for currency issue, it makes Americans look weak(American bad economy is because of other countries' policy?)
