There is a difference between selling out and changing your sound. This is just absolutely different from what they used to sound like. Changing is ok, it has to be done, but going from one sound to a completely different one, it's almost like changing genres, in a sense. People like a band because of their style and tone... Linkin Park has lost all of that, in my opinion. The style they had that made me like them... Gone.

I don't think so... I think their change was to try and stay relevant in the music world because after Hybrid Theory, no one really cared about them. Their new songs are just an attempt to garner attention for themselves. Hopefully they can do something with that and move back to the way they used to.
It's much like Mudvayne's new album "The New Game"... While they retain some of their stylistic elements, they have ditched most of what made their sound unique and so good.
