..salam tt le monde je suis Marocain et franchement tout ce que je voie c'est que aucun d'entre eux n'a fait une action expret visant à ralentir l'autre..selon ce que j'ai vu Hicham a essayé de faire le petit tour affin de gagner quelques metres ce qui a causé une interferences entre les pieds des athletes ..voila ..salam

lol the people who are accusing morceli are pathetic ! Morcelli was running and wasn't looking at anyone. He didn't push his foot ! He made a move to avoid falling! Morcelli was the fastest from the beginning and he won more than once ! It's insane how some Moroccans are always there to insult Algerians!Morcelli won because he was the best get over it!

koolkurd, you're such an idiot! the one u cal ugly troll has more achievements than u will ever dream to have. before u make dumb statements get ur facts right. If el guerouj is all what u say morceli is also one of the greatest middle distance runners ever. He has won three World Championships in the 1500m and the 1996 Olympics 1500m. At one point, he held all records from 1500m to 3000m, as well as the indoor 1000 and 1500. Lol it's funny when losers dare insult icons like morceli.

the person u dont no the name of is hicham el guerrouj, the 1500m and mile world record holder, gold medal in the 1500 and 5000 at athens. He did stick his foot out but he didnt get dq because aparently it was an accident. i think his leg went out bcoz he kiked the bac of his own left leg, u can c at the start of the side on view if u look closely a slight deflection as his leg goes past

Morceli's foot was caught by the guy behind. You can see his leg flick out slightly to free his leg & avoid himself falling. El J then trips over Morceli's leg. You could not deliberately trip someone who is behind you

Who knows who would have one without this. Morceli was No. 1 for a couple of years so at least deserved his win. El G went on to even greater things. True athletics fans would never disrespect either of these great athlete- go back to football!

If Morcelli won 3 World Championships, The King Of 1500m Guerrouj did it for 4 times.
If Morcelli won one olympic medal by cheating Guerrouj won 2 (1500-5000) in the same olympic games by battling until the last meter honestly.
Records of Guerrouj are greater: 3 times the best sportman of the year on world, 4 times golden league winner. He has records keep exist more than 10 years. Just go to wikipedia and type Guerrouj and you will see that he is "Roi de 1500m"

You will oblige me to say: Thank god that he took his revenge and humiliated him twice in 1997 and (1999 where Morcelli couldn't even finish the course). Guerrouj finished his career in the top and never suffers from this. You know why??? Because he suffered from cheating and hard luck so he finishes in top.

Any time someone beats your favourite sprinter means he cheated. Why don't you accept that Morcelli was a champion before, he did his time and then left El Guerroudj doing his time. Why it has to be always cheating with you guys? because he's not moroccan? tell me when Morcelli cheated? because I don't think that the IOC would have allowed that...so please be respectful to all champions. We didn't say Morcelli cheated in 1995 when he got world championship title because he deserved winning and he didn't do anything wrong. But in 1996, we all know what's happened it's very clear so stop denying.
I said that Morcelli is an icon and a great champion it's obvious but who made a great mistake in 1996 so when you want to compare the two champions even if you consider that he didn't cheat, The King's "exploits" are greater than Morcelli's. It's simple I think
