Out of desperation, one of them (Jones) recently paid some vanity publisher almost a thousand bucks to "publish" it online, after every engineering journal in the world laughed at it.
Small wonder he was fired from his teaching job.
I thought he would be too embarrassed after everyone figured out his degree was in History, and he's about as qualified to analyze engineering failure as some McDonald's french fry technician.

No need to explain something that didn't happen. Hundreds of people onsite -- local citizens, the mayor, governor, cops, firemen, investigators from dozens of agencies -- describe pieces of aircraft all over the place, including an engine 300 yds from the smoking crater where they dug out the rest of the plane and the passengers & crew. All were identified by DNA, using over a hundred lab techs & pathologists from AFIP, FBI & local labs.
Yes, though he's a bit more careful in his wording, like not saying "my science background," but instead "Science tells us ..."
Even Griffin, the ex-theology professor, and King, whose doctorate isn't in engineering, are being more careful, after a few reporters asked them about their science credentials.
Now it's easier to understand why not one of these "scholars" will submit an article to an engrg journal.

Afraid to explain why your "science" relies on theologists, historians, Moslem language instructors -- and you can't find a single structural engineer to stand up and defend the stuff from Konspiracy Klown Kollege?
Whenever scientific credentials come up, the Truthers change the subject -- embarrassed to compare Jones & Fetzer with Bazant, Eager & Asteneh.
He's trying hard, and he still manages to fool the gullible illiterates in the Truther cesspool.
His credentials truly aren't really that much worse than those lame nobodies they list at ae911truth, or whatever they call that loonlist of phonies and leftist cocksuckers.
If you bother to check anything -- even the local newspaper reports from Chanksville, or the dozens of interviews with volunteers who helped pick up parts plus human remains -- you wouldn't ask such a silly question.
The only people who claim there were no plane parts is the conspiracy freaks at loony websites. They cherry-pick a few phrases from the mayor and coroner, and leave out the next sentence that clearly mention parts & bodies.
