His ideas aren't alone for the poor, stop looking up biast reports. You should know both sides of the story before you jump to a conclusion- You're doing exactly what mr. moore is doing, jumping to the conclusion that american needs universal healthcare and that it benefit EVERYONE.

Dude, because of his 911 film and conspiracies, i HATED moore.
I love bill because he's true to humanity and reality.
BUT, wow. what moore was saying about health care in this country is true, and FACTUAL (more importantly). I can't believe i was actually enjoying a michael moore conversation. We seriously need to fix our health care system.

We do need to fix our healthcare system, and the solution he provides and supports is not the best solution for this country. There must be a better healthcare policy to fix our current system rather than the quick fix that's apparently worked for every other country.

Not sure why people hate Michael Moore so much. Now they're loving him? Let's just agree that he gets us to think and he's not a COMPLETE bullshitter. Honestly, even if only half the things about Bush in "Farenheit 9/11" were true it would still make Michael a hero for bringing them up.

Open question to Americans. Seriously, do Americans really believe the garbage they are being told by their leaders about the Canadian Health Care system? I am over 60, lived in Canada all my life, have had some health problems, and have been looked after when needed, by a doctor or hospitial of my choice and never paid a dime. For the life of me, I can't realistically understand why the Canadian system is considered inferior to the US Health services in any area.

The difference between a good social health care plan and a bad one is the government that administers it. There is no way we can trust the U.S. Federal government do that properly.. they have Zero credibility with the people.

They can't help it....it's being forced-fed to them and they can't see around it because they don't travel outside their own backyards(most of them). I'm Canadian too and have NEVER had to pay OR wait for any healthcare. I've had wonderful doctors and hospitals here all my life...free operations, child birth, emergency treatments, doctors appointments. I love it here and IT IS WORTH MY PAYING TAXES TO GET IT, A HUNDRED TIMES OVER.

if Hussein Obama wins, is it even Constitutional for a negroe to be President? I know they have the right to VOTE, (not that very many of them do vote), but can they serve as President?

You know, I've been reading comments from Americans for some time. Canada has it's problems but I see comments from American like "there is no aspect of America that seems to work" (see Stormwerm). Just a thought but I notice America is set up to be "just about me" (e.g. individual freedoms)and "it's all about money". Maybe a change of overall focus may provide some of the answers. It's different here - the Canadian culture is different enough that universal health care works here.

American's watch entirely too much TV and so yes there are many who believe what we're being told. Many of us also believe that an aknowledgment that America has it's faults is base treason. Not all of us do though. :( I want to move there but my cruddy American education isn't good enough to find work there. Perhaps after a few more semesters . . .
