saw him in 74, he brought down the place. 2 other bands got booed off, waiting for him to come on (not a nice thing to do, and don't even remember who they were) but he was great. glad to know he is still rocking like he used to. saw edgar with derringer (white trash) in 72 and he was great too, but johnny was better. would be great to see them both together in concert.

Ya Ted was great to, He still had Derrick ST Holmes. Its just that you had 2 totaly different guitarists and Johnny was in top form in those years. With the best band he ever had.They smoked.

What about Hendrix with 'All Along The Watchtower'? Or the Byrds with 'Mr. Tambourine Man'? Dylan is a genius, and I love his own versions of his songs, but there is a LONG list of artists who have outdone Dylan on his own songs. Dylan has often said others have performed his songs better than himself.
